Greg Boughey has over 35 years experience in chemical commercial sales leadership with Chemtura (now Lanxess), Henkel Loctite, Honeywell, and Albemarle. Most recently Greg served as Albemarle’s Global New Business Development Leader for Specialties Chemicals.
Greg Boughey is a globally recognized commercial leader with more than 35 years in chemical industry sales, marketing, and business development. His career includes senior leadership roles with Chemtura (now Lanxess), Henkel Loctite, Honeywell, and Albemarle Corporation, where he most recently served as Global New Business Development Leader for Specialty Chemicals.
Greg brings deep expertise in both the lithium and bromine markets, with vast knowledge and experience in refining, petrochemical, chemical, coatings, adhesives and sealants (CASE), and specialty chemical industries. He has held leadership positions spanning technical service, product management, business development, innovation management, supply chain management, technology management, pricing and profit management, sustainability, sales, and marketing.
Throughout his career, Greg has successfully led the launch of numerous new products and services that delivered improved economics and enhanced sustainability compared to competitive offerings—helping customers achieve both performance and environmental goals.
At ALiBrX, he drives global sales and marketing strategy, leveraging his technical depth and market insight to accelerate growth in bromine derivatives and next-generation lithium and bromine extraction technologies.
Greg holds both a BS and MS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
