VP Land

Wade Pollard is an accomplished land management professional with over 25 years of experience driving complex oil, gas, and renewable energy transactions across the premier U.S. resource plays. He has demonstrated a track record of successfully integrating large-scale acquisitions, developing and leading high-performing land teams, and structuring and negotiating strategic agreements that maximize asset value.

Wade’s career encompasses senior leadership roles, including serving as Vice President of Land for INEOS USA Oil & Gas, where he directed all land operations for the company’s Eagle Ford and Austin Chalk assets. In this capacity, he built and led the Land group through the $1.4 billion acquisition and seamless integration of Chesapeake’s South Texas Eagle Ford portfolio. His expertise includes managing mineral/leasehold acquisition programs, negotiating complex surface and subsurface agreements, advancing geothermal and wind project development, and driving cross-disciplinary asset integration.

Wade has held senior land management roles, including Land Manager and Vice President of Land, with leading E&P companies such as Oasis Petroleum, Four Corners Petroleum II, Rose Petroleum, and Great Western Oil & Gas. His experience spans oversight of drilling programs in the DJ, Eagle Ford, Bakken, Powder River, and Permian Basins, as well as managing asset evaluations, regulatory permitting, unit formation, title review/due diligence, and asset divestitures. He began his career as an independent landman with Roger A. Soape, Inc., where he developed a strong foundation in title examination, leasing, and curative work.

An active leader in the land professional community, Wade has served as President of the Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen, active in AAPL committees, and held a director role with the Houston Association of Petroleum Landmen. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Petroleum Land Management from Texas Tech University, received his Certified Professional Landman (CPL) designation in 2008, and obtained a Renewables Certificate in 2024.
