Allen Satterwhite

Founder, President & CEO

Allen Satterwhite is a proven energy executive, strategist, and founder with over 30 years of leadership experience across upstream, midstream, power, trading, and emerging technologies. Before founding ALiBrX, Allen held multiple global executive roles at Chevron, culminating as a member of the CEO’s Global Leadership Forum — an elite group of ~50 leaders shaping strategy and leading operations across one of the world’s largest energy companies.   

His prior executive positions include serving as President of Chevron Pipeline & Power, overseeing multibillion-dollar assets and operations with global responsibilities; Senior Vice President and Vice President of Chevron Indonesia, leading one of the company’s most complex set of operations and international ventures; VP of Finance & Planning for Chevron’s Global Natural Gas business, a startup business unit which entailed financial and compliance responsibilities for billions of dollars of monthly transactions; and GM of Strategy & Planning for Asia Pacific, where he helped steer regional growth across a diverse energy portfolio spanning 7 countries.

Having grown up in an entrepreneur’s home where startup businesses were the norm, Allen’s career has been defined by his ability to drive innovation at scale — launching transformative initiatives, pioneering new technology adoption, and enabling entrepreneurial teams to be agile and nimble within even the largest corporate structures. His exposure to the lithium sector spans the last decade both as a hobby and through professional responsibilities, while his broader subsurface and operational experience in overseeing subsurface mineral extraction spans the last three decades.

In addition to his operating roles, Allen has served on multiple subsidiary and joint venture boards, and previously served on the American Petroleum Institute’s Midstream Committee.  

Allen holds a B.S. and M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from LSU and an Executive MBA from Tulane University.  In his spare time, Allen is fully immersed in chasing his children across the softball and baseball fields and coaching basketball.
